Altamira Fine Art is celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary as a gallery with a group show featuring new work from gallery artists at our Jackson Hole location.
Celebrate with us at the Champage Reception Thursday, July 19th, from 5-8pm.
This summer, Altamira Fine Art celebrates a decade of dedication:
- To our talented stable of artists—all visionaries devoted to revealing the layered West.
- To our loyal collectors—all connoisseurs of true expression.
- To connecting these two groups via a shared love of contemporary Western art.
Together we trailblaze, nurturing and expanding the Western genre by finding the most articulate and modern artists working today in this distinctive part of the world and the market.
On our tenth anniversary, we thank every person who has made this journey possible. And on the cusp of another decade, we renew our commitment to revealing the contours of the American West.
In gratitude, we feature new work by our entire roster. To wrangle their thoughts on this collective milestone, we supplied each artist with a 10-by-10-inch canvas as a starting point; many filled their squares and offered additional pieces in celebration. The salon wall of anniversary squares, unveiled with the exhibition on July 16, will capture the breadth and depth of our gallery, as well as glimpses of future inspiration.
Ever in the moment yet ever ambitious, we consider Altamira a platform of possibility: For what our artists can achieve when empowered to explore the limits of their practice, whether that be experimenting with film and performance or forging collaborations. No matter the medium, we support our artists as they cultivate community, both in Jackson and Scottsdale.
Altamira defies its physical walls to embody an ethos of exploration. With you, we celebrate our decade-long journey and look forward to the adventures ahead.
Our 10th Anniversary Exhibition runs from July 16 to 28 at Altamira Fine Art in Jackson Hole, WY, with a celebratory reception staged during the Third Thursday ArtWalk from 5 to 8pm on July 19.
