In IN THE STUDIO: Miles Glynn, we step inside Glynn’s creative world for a closer look at the artist, his process and the influences behind his distinctly contemporary take on the American West. The son of a U.S. Army photojournalist, Glynn developed an early instinct for seeing the world in images and compositions. Today, he combines silkscreen, painting, found materials and vintage imagery to build richly layered works that feel at once familiar and entirely new.

That ongoing exploration takes center stage in Lost And Found, Glynn’s current exhibition at Altamira Fine Art in Jackson Hole. Bringing his Lost Cowboys and Lost Cowgirls together for the first time, the exhibition pairs iconic Western imagery with layered surfaces, historical materials, hand-bent neon and found objects—turning artifacts of the past into a distinctly modern vision of the West.
